York Open Studios: one of the highlights of York’s visual arts calendar
York Open Studios Tenth Anniversary!
Open over two weekends, 1, 2 and 3 April and 8, 9 and 10 April 2011
To celebrate ten years of York Open Studios we have invited all our previous participants to take part and in addition we have nearly forty new faces so don’t miss this free opportunity to visit a grand total of 119 of York’s best professional artists and makers in their homes, studios or exhibition spaces.
There will be an even wider variety of work on view and for sale – paintings, prints, textiles, jewellery, ceramics, furniture, wood-carving, photography, sculpture and more…
Alongside York’s individual artists and makers we have arranged some associated events and collaborations linked to the creative life of the city. Full details on the info and news pages.
York Open Studios is a voluntary non-profit making project run for the mutual benefit of York residents, visitors and York based artists and makers.
The Committee would like to thank our sponsors Harrowells solicitors and our advertisers for their continuing support. We gratefully acknowledge funding from City of York Council through Arts Action York, and thank York Art Gallery, The National Railway Museum, Gray’s Court, Bar Lane Studios and York St John University for all their assistance
