The Modern and Contemporary British Art Discussion Group aims to foster exchange and debate among British art researchers, and holds regular meetings at central London locations. The next meeting on Wednesday 7th December will see Robert Sutton, a doctoral student at the University of York in collaboration with Tate Britain, open discussion with a summary of the ideas behind his thesis, entitled “Henry Moore and a Modern Education”.
The British Art Discussion Group will take place in one of Tate’s meeting rooms. Those who would like to attend will therefore need to meet as a group beforehand outside the Manton entrance on Atterbury Street at 15.45. If you are planning to attend, please email your interest to Greg and Kate in advance in order to prepare your security pass.
